What is Corporate…if you think strictly about systems its the Corporate WAN, the Corporate data centers, the Corporate systems that control things like finance, payroll, travel, customer relationship management, and helpdesk. If you think about organizations it’s groups like facilities mgmt, information services (helpdesk, internal software, JHA’s brand websites), jsource business group, Tech Services (IT infrastructure), telco relations, Operations(Identity mgmt, purchasing, cyber intelligence), internal audit, compliance/risk(information security, disaster recovery, business continuity, Occupational safety), finance, sales, call center, travel, project management.
User Acceptance Testing(UAT)/Staging
As of June 2016 JHA does not have a uniform approach to the code life cycle as it progresses from staging to UAT and finally its implementation in production. Banno maintains staging and UAT environments with our various code versions. There are a few groups that have UAT and Quality Assurance(QA) environments deployed within their data center footprint. However, there are just as many groups that maintain these sorts of UAT/Staging/QA services on servers that are either not kept up to date, are undersized, or aren’t deployed within a product group’s data center, but instead in a corporate datacenter accessible directly on the corporate network. ie. test jXchange boxes connect directly to the corporate network in the Monett DC. Symx dev is a box connected into the San Diego office on the corporate network. They have a few other UAT boxes in the Outlink Lenexa DC, but the path to reach them transits the corporate network.
