Essential functions of project managers
- Provide overall, long-term coordination and management to Digital technical projects from initiation through delivery.
- Establish effective communication with people across digital and non-technical departments in order to identify key plan tasks, delivery milestones and due dates.
- Help to maintain and author project documentation.
- Monitor and track all escalated issues and risks to resolution.
- Develop, define and execute project plans, schedules, risks, budgets and deliverables.
- Assist in identifying team members for projects, define project roles and stakeholders.
- Track changes to any communicated schedules.
- When needed, facilitate a project retrospective.
